**THOOTHUKUDI, November 25, 2024** – A 36-year-old woman, Devikala, was found murdered at her home in Eral, Thoothukudi district on Monday. Police have identified 26-year-old Lingaraj, a resident of the same area, as the prime suspect.
According to reports, Devikala was alone at home when a man entered and stabbed her to death. Neighbours heard her screams and rushed to the house, but the assailant had fled, leaving behind his two-wheeler. Eral Police have registered a case and are currently investigating.
