Hyderabad, Telangana – Tollywood actor Sri Tej is facing multiple accusations of fraud and domestic abuse. A young woman filed a complaint at the Kukatpally police station alleging that Sri Tej defrauded her of ₹20 lakhs under the pretense of marriage. Another woman claims a similar scenario, further alleging Sri Tej’s involvement in the death of a private bank senior vice president, Suresh, who reportedly suffered a heart attack after discovering Sri Tej’s extramarital affair with his wife. A case has been registered against Sri Tej in Madhapur in connection with Suresh’s death.
Further fueling the controversy, Sri Tej’s wife, Nithisha, has come forward with shocking allegations of domestic violence and infidelity. She claims that after a lavish wedding in 2015, Sri Tej kept her in Vijayawada, preventing her from moving to Hyderabad and physically assaulting her when she questioned his extramarital relationships. Nithisha further alleges that Sri Tej’s house contained clothing and belongings belonging to other women, and that he avoided her attempts to move to Hyderabad to prevent his affairs from being exposed. She has filed for divorce in a Vijayawada court, claiming Sri Tej is evading court appearances and refusing to provide maintenance.
Police have registered a case against Sri Tej under sections BNS 69, 115(2), and 318(2) based on the accumulating complaints. Sri Tej, currently starring in films with leading Tollywood heroes, is yet to respond to these serious allegations. The investigation is ongoing.
