**New Delhi, November 26, 2024** – The wife of cricketer Nitish Rana, Sachi Marwah, has publicly criticized the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for not bidding on her husband during the recent IPL 2025 auction. Rana, who is the son-in-law of Bollywood actor Govinda, played for KKR for seven years before being released. He was ultimately picked up by the Rajasthan Royals for ₹4.2 crore.

Marwah expressed her disappointment on social media, tweeting, “Loyalty is expensive, not everyone can afford it,” a clear indication of her displeasure at KKR’s decision. The franchise’s failure to bid on Rana, despite his base price of ₹1.5 crore, has fueled speculation and sparked fan debate.
