**Dallas, TX** – Passengers on American Airlines flight 1915 from Milwaukee to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport subdued and duct-taped a disruptive passenger who threatened flight attendants and attempted to open a door mid-flight. The incident, which occurred last week, involved a male passenger who became agitated after being refused permission to open the aircraft door. He then physically assaulted a flight attendant who tried to stop him.

According to eyewitness Dough McCright, who spoke to Fox4 News, the passenger ignored repeated requests to return to his seat. McCright intervened, along with several other passengers, including Charlie Boris. They restrained the man, taping his hands and feet to prevent further disruption for the remainder of the flight.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are investigating the incident. While the passenger has not yet been charged, he was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for a mental health evaluation. Authorities have not yet released his name.

American Airlines released a statement praising the actions of its crew and passengers, stating that the safety and security of its customers and employees is its top priority. The airline thanked those involved for their quick thinking and decisive actions in managing a difficult situation.
