**Vijayawada, November 26, 2024** – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday honored Government Advisor Chaganti Koteswara Rao for his work promoting ethical values. During a felicitation ceremony at the Secretariat, Mr. Naidu stressed the crucial role of moral education alongside academic achievement in building a strong society.

Mr. Naidu highlighted the importance of preserving India’s unique cultural heritage and traditions, particularly emphasizing respect for women, elders, and parents. He expressed concern over the negative influences affecting youth and leading to a decline in moral values. He tasked Mr. Koteswara Rao with developing programs to instill these values in students through lectures, special initiatives, and activities in educational institutions.

Mr. Koteswara Rao indicated that he is already collaborating with HRD Minister N. Lokesh to integrate moral education into the curriculum using resources like the Sumathi and Vemana Sathakams (collections of ethical stories and teachings).
