Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction concluded on Monday in Jeddah, marking a thrilling end to two days of intense bidding. The auction saw record-breaking bids and several surprising picks, with teams like Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) demonstrating significant financial power. Other teams, including Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, had less successful days.

A notable highlight was the acquisition of thirteen-year-old Bihar prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi by the Rajasthan Royals for a staggering 1.10 crore rupees. Several other players fetched significant sums, including a player acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for a whopping 3.8 crore rupees after a fierce bidding war with Punjab Kings.

While some high-profile players such as David Warner remained unsold, many others found new homes. The auction saw a flurry of activity across all teams, with some players picked up at their base price, while others triggered intense bidding wars. Arjun Tendulkar was sold to MI for Rs. 30 lakh, and Lungi Ngidi went to RCB for Rs. 1 crore. A full list of sold players and their respective teams is available on Sportstar.

Following the auction, teams were given the opportunity to select players to be re-entered into the auction. Several teams remain with funds and slots to be filled for the upcoming season. Sportstar will continue to provide updates on team compositions and predicted playing XIs in the coming days.
