**Hyderabad, [Date]** – A significant temperature drop is sweeping across Telangana, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad predicting lows of 11 degrees Celsius in several districts. This cold snap, expected to last until Wednesday, has prompted the IMD to issue a yellow alert for Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem, Mancherial, Medak, Nirmal, Sangareddy, and Warangal.

While Hyderabad is not under a yellow alert, residents can still anticipate chilly mornings with misty and hazy conditions. Maredpally in Hyderabad already recorded a low of 14.6 degrees Celsius.

The IMD attributes this sharp temperature decline to La Niña conditions, which are predicted to bring an unusually harsh winter to parts of India this year. La Niña, characterized by cooler Pacific Ocean surface waters, is expected to impact northern, northwestern, and central India, with Telangana feeling the effects.

Although Hyderabad city itself has avoided a yellow alert, residents should prepare for significantly cooler-than-average mornings in the coming days.
