JEDDAH – The Gujarat Titans (GT) dominated the IPL 2025 mega auction, held in Jeddah on November 24th and 25th, acquiring 20 players, including England’s T20I captain Jos Buttler for a staggering Rs. 15.75 crore. The two-day auction saw 577 players vying for contracts.

Buttler’s acquisition was the highlight of GT’s spending spree, which also saw them secure the services of pace bowlers Kagiso Rabada (Rs. 10.75 crore) and Mohammed Siraj (Rs. 12.25 crore). Other notable additions include Prasidh Krishna (Rs. 9.50 crore), Washington Sundar (Rs. 3.20 crore), and several other promising players. The team now has only Rs. 0.15 crore remaining in its purse and two overseas player slots available.
