**NEW DELHI** – Delhi Police have arrested a 34-year-old man, Pradeep, for allegedly murdering his wife in the Okhla Industrial Area. The victim’s body was discovered on Saturday inside the driver’s cabin of a cold storage truck.
Pradeep, a resident of Umra village in Haryana, reportedly suspected his wife of infidelity. Police say he traveled from Navi Mumbai to Delhi with his wife, arriving on November 13th. The argument leading to the murder allegedly occurred between November 19th and 20th. Preliminary investigations suggest Pradeep killed his wife in a fit of rage inside the truck.
A PCR call alerted authorities to the body, which was found in a pool of blood. The victim, a native of Patna, Bihar, was identified as Pradeep’s wife. A crime scene team and forensic experts have processed the scene. Police have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation. Pradeep is currently in police custody.
