**TIRUPPUR, November 26, 2024** – A newly constructed boat house on the Andipalayam Lake near Tiruppur city officially opened today. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the facility via videoconference.

The boat house, built by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Corporation, sits on the embankment of the 58-acre lake and will offer boat rides using thirteen newly deployed boats. Visitors can also enjoy various water sports and amenities including a restaurant, fast food outlet, ticketing counter, and a children’s park.

District Collector T. Christuraj, Tiruppur City Police Commissioner S. Lakshmi, and other officials attended the launch event. The opening marks a new addition to Tiruppur’s tourism offerings.
