**Dhamtari, November 24:** Three masked youths have been arrested for stabbing a police officer in Nagri, Chhattisgarh. The incident occurred on November 23rd when DSF Reserve Constable Gaindram Markam was returning home after duty. While near the Karraghati Chameda intersection, three men on a scooter attacked him, robbing him of ₹200 and stabbing him in the hip. One assailant also held a knife to his neck.
Constable Markam reported the incident to his colleagues, who took him to the hospital. Nagri police launched an investigation, using witness statements, informant tips, and technical evidence to identify and apprehend the suspects.
The arrested individuals are identified as Dheeraj Bisen (22), Hiteshwar Markam (21), and Gyanendra Netam (22), all residents of Nagri. Police recovered ₹200 and two knives from them. The arresting officers included Nagri Police Station In-charge Sharad Tamrakar, Assistant Sub-Inspector Shriram Patel, and several other officers.
