**Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh:** Police in Janjgir-Champa district have seized a DJ sound system for playing music at excessive volume, violating noise pollution regulations. The system, found in a vehicle bearing registration number CG-11-AR-6522, was being operated by Santosh Kumar Kashyap, a resident of Kosmanda, Champa. The incident occurred on the night of November 24th near the Kamrid bus stand in Saragaon. Police responded to a noise complaint and confiscated the equipment. Authorities are also investigating Kashyap’s criminal history; if prior noise pollution violations are found, further action, including the permanent seizure of the DJ system, will be taken.
