**TIRUNELVELI, November 25, 2024** – Papanasam and Manimuthar dams in Tamil Nadu reported moderate water levels following light rainfall in the region. As of Monday, Papanasam dam registered a water level of 89.55 feet (out of a maximum 143 feet), with an inflow of 610 cusecs and an outflow of 500 cusecs. Manimuthar dam’s water level stood at 79 feet (out of a maximum 118 feet), with an inflow of 334 cusecs and an outflow of 35 cusecs. Minimal rainfall was recorded in the area, with Kakkachi and Nalumukku receiving 1 mm each, and Oothu registering 2 mm in the 24 hours ending 6 a.m. Monday.
