**Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh:** Tensions escalated into violence in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, following a survey of a local mosque on Sunday. The incident resulted in the deaths of four young men, sparking widespread unrest.
Police have responded with a heavy-handed approach, taking 21 people into custody, including two women. As a preventative measure, internet services have been suspended for 24 hours, and schools and colleges have been closed.
