Despite having opportunities to score, Chennaiyin’s head coach, Owen Coyle, conceded that Kerala Blasters were the deserving winners, highlighting avoidable defensive errors that led to the goals.

Coyle praised Kerala Blasters’ attacking prowess, singling out the performances of Jesus Jimenez, Noah Sadaoui, and Adrian Luna, but lamented his team’s defensive lapses. He acknowledged that Chennaiyin had chances to equalize but ultimately made it too easy for their opponents.
