**Istanbul, Turkey** – Rumors are swirling in Turkey that José Mourinho, manager of Fenerbahce, has personally contacted Cristiano Ronaldo to gauge his interest in a move to the Turkish giants. Ronaldo’s contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr expires in June, and negotiations for a renewal are reportedly stalled.

According to Turkish reports, Mourinho contacted the Portuguese superstar directly, inquiring about his happiness in Saudi Arabia and suggesting a potential move to Fenerbahce should he choose to leave Al-Nassr. Fenerbahce’s director of football, Mario Branco, has also reportedly entered talks with Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes.
