**Srinagar, [Date of Publication]** – The Jammu and Kashmir Staff Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the recruitment of 669 Sub-Inspectors for the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Applications are open from December 3, 2024, to January 2, 2025, through the official JKSSB website, jkssb.nic.in.
Aspiring candidates must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, possessing a domicile certificate issued on or before January 2, 2025. The age limit is 18-28 years, with an extension to 18-30 years for in-service personnel. The age will be calculated as of January 1, 2024. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is mandatory, along with meeting specified physical standards detailed in the official notification.
The application fee is ₹700, reduced to ₹600 for SC, ST-1, ST-2, and EWS candidates.
