**Jeddah, Saudi Arabia** – Gujarat Titans (GT), the IPL 2022 champions, have significantly strengthened their squad ahead of the 2025 season. The team retained five key players – Shubman Gill, Rashid Khan, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, and Shahrukh Khan – for a total of ₹69 crore, leaving them with ₹51 crore for the mega auction.

The Titans then made a splash at the auction, acquiring several high-profile players. The biggest acquisitions include South African pace sensation Kagiso Rabada (₹10.75 crore) and England’s explosive batsman Jos Buttler (₹15.75 crore).
