**CHENNAI, November 25, 2024** – The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) is joining the United Nations’ global “16 Days of Activism” campaign to end violence against women. As part of the initiative, the iconic Ripon Building will be illuminated in orange from November 25th to December 10th, 2024. This follows a previous illumination in PRIDE colours on June 30th, 2024, also to raise awareness for related causes. The GCC announced its participation in a press release on Monday.
