**Kadambur, Tamil Nadu – November 25, 2024** – A 31-year-old farmer, O. Prabhusamy, was arrested on Sunday for cultivating ganja on his land in Kombaiyur, near Makkampalayam. Kadambur police, acting on a tip-off, discovered four ganja plants weighing approximately 100 grams growing amidst maize crops on Prabhusamy’s property. The plants were seized, and Prabhusamy was arrested, charged under Section 8 (b) r/w 20 (a) (i) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, and remanded to prison.
