Sun Nov 24 17:56:24 UTC 2024: ## Man Arrested for Double Murder in Andhra Pradesh Property Dispute

**ELURU, Andhra Pradesh – November 24, 2024** – Police in Mandavalli, Eluru district, have arrested Royyuru Nagesh Babu for the double murder of his aunt, Royyuru Bramaramba (60), and her son, R. Suresh (20). The bodies were discovered in their home on Saturday.

According to Eluru Superintendent of Police K. Pratap Shiva Kishore, the murders stemmed from a property dispute between Nagesh Babu and Suresh over a house site and agricultural land. Both men were sons of different wives of the same man, R. Subba Rao.

Nagesh Babu allegedly attacked Bramaramba and Suresh with a knife while they slept on the night of November 23rd. He was apprehended by a police team led by Eluru DSP D. Sravan Kumar and Kaikalur Circle-Inspector V. Ravi Kumar. The investigation is ongoing.
