**Thrissur, Kerala –** Newly-elected Chelakkara MLA U.R. Pradeep has pledged to prioritize educational development and infrastructure improvements in his constituency, addressing a long-standing need for higher education coaching centers. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Pradeep acknowledged the challenges of achieving significant progress within his 18-month term, particularly with upcoming local body elections. However, he assured constituents that ongoing projects initiated by his predecessor would be expedited.
Health is another key area of focus, with Pradeep highlighting recent Taluk hospital upgrades and plans for a new mother and child care facility. Addressing concerns about Chelakkara’s agricultural sector, heavily impacted by wild animal conflicts and water scarcity, he advocated for a national review of wildlife laws. Road improvements are also slated for priority.
