**Hyderabad, November 25, 2024** – South Central Railway (SCR) has announced the launch of a new QR code payment system at 35 major parcel offices across its six divisions. This initiative allows customers to pay parcel charges conveniently using UPI-based mobile payments.
The new system leverages the existing Parcel Management System (PMS) and utilizes QR code display devices installed at the offices. Customers can now scan a transaction-specific QR code generated by the system to complete their payments. Major locations included in the rollout are Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Warangal, Bidar, and Kazipet. The SCR anticipates this upgrade will improve efficiency and convenience for parcel customers.
