The franchise secured Rahul for a hefty Rs 14 crore, beating out strong competition from KKR, RCB, and CSK. Jindal highlighted Rahul’s consistent performance and the suitability of the Kotla wicket for his batting style. He emphasized that both Rahul and Patel will play crucial mentoring roles for the team’s younger players.
