The 42-year-old, who retired from Test cricket earlier this year, previously registered for the 2012 auction but went unsold. This time, however, his entry has sparked considerable interest.
Anderson’s inclusion in the auction has generated excitement, with several teams potentially considering him as a backup option and mentoring resource. The Chennai Super Kings are among those speculated to be interested. His experience and potential mentoring role could make him a valuable asset despite his age.
