**TIRUMALA, November 25, 2024** – A recent donation of 6.7 kilograms of silver puja items to the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple sparked a brief investigation by temple authorities. On November 18th, a devotee reportedly donated silver items including a pot, lamps, and plates. Initial reports suggested the items were handed directly to temple priests.
However, when Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials informed vigilance officers that they had received no such donation, an investigation was launched. The investigation revealed that the devotee had actually deposited the silver items in the temple’s hundi (donation box).
