Sun Nov 24 15:20:00 UTC 2024: ## Zampa Returns to NSW Blues for Sheffield Shield Clash Against Tasmania

**Sydney, Australia** – Leg-spinner Adam Zampa is back in the NSW Blues Sheffield Shield squad for their upcoming match against Tasmania at the SCG. The veteran Australian white-ball bowler, along with Sean Abbott and Josh Philippe, rejoins the team after completing international duties against Pakistan. Their return follows a strong win over South Australia last week.

The squad sees the omission of Tanveer Sangha, Jack Nisbet, and Lachlan Shaw. Jack Edwards will again captain the side in the absence of Moises Henriques, who is preparing for the BBL. This match is crucial for the Blues, currently fourth in the standings, and will be their second to last before the mid-season BBL break.

Cricket NSW Chief of Cricket Performance, Greg Mail, expressed his delight at Zampa’s return, highlighting his experience and the strength added to the team. The match, starting Sunday, November 24th at 10:30 am AEDT, will also feature a minute’s silence on Wednesday, November 27th, to mark the tenth anniversary of Phillip Hughes’ passing. NSW players will wear black armbands throughout the match in tribute. The full squad is: Sean Abbott, Jackson Bird, Ollie Davies, Jack Edwards (c), Matt Gilkes, Chris Green, Ryan Hadley, Sam Konstas, Nic Maddinson, Kurtis Patterson, Josh Philippe, and Adam Zampa.
