**Jaleswar, Odisha –** A container truck driver was killed in a fiery crash on National Highway-60 near the Laxmannath toll plaza on Sunday. Police reported that the truck collided with a road divider, resulting in a vehicle fire that consumed the driver.
Emergency responders from the Jaleswar police station and fire department arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze after approximately an hour. However, the driver perished in the fire and remains unidentified.
The accident caused a temporary disruption of traffic flow on the highway. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
