**New Delhi, India –** Royal Enfield has launched the Goan Classic 350, a new bobber motorcycle inspired by Goa’s 1960s and 70s hippie culture. The bike boasts a striking retro design, making it a head-turner in the entry-level modern classic segment.

The Goan Classic 350 is based on the Classic 350 platform but features a significantly redesigned rear section, including a new tailpiece, shorter seat, and a segment-first tubeless whitewall tire on a 16-inch rear rim (the front remains a 19-inch unit). A mini ape-style handlebar and longer swingarm complete the bobber transformation. Available in four eye-catching colors – Rave Red, Shack Black, Purple Haze, and Trip Teal – the bike’s design is its strongest asset.

While aesthetically pleasing, the Goan Classic 350 compromises on practicality. The pillion seat detracts from the sleek design and limits luggage options. The seat height is lower at 750mm compared to the standard Classic 350 (805mm), improving accessibility, but long-distance comfort is limited due to the slightly tall, mini-ape handlebar (though a shorter option will be offered) and stiffer rear suspension. The bike weighs 197 kg, 2 kg more than the standard model.

The motorcycle retains the familiar 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Performance is described as adequate for leisurely riding, with ample torque for overtaking. Fuel efficiency is claimed at 36.2 kmpl.

The Goan Classic 350 features full LED lighting, a charging port, a Tripper navigation pod, and dual-channel ABS. It also incorporates the metal switchgear previously only seen on Royal Enfield’s 650cc models.

Priced at ₹2.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the Goan Classic 350 is the most expensive 350cc Royal Enfield model currently available. It directly competes with the Jawa 42 Bobber and Jawa Perak.

While not perfect for long journeys or carrying substantial luggage, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 offers undeniable style and a unique riding experience, making it a compelling option for those prioritizing aesthetics and a relaxed riding style.
