**Jeddah, Saudi Arabia –** The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have made significant acquisitions on the first day of the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah. The franchise secured the services of several high-profile international players, including Liam Livingstone (Rs. 8.75 crore), Phil Salt (Rs. 11.50 crore), Jitesh Sharma (Rs. 11 crore), and Josh Hazlewood (Rs. 12.50 crore).

RCB retained their star players Virat Kohli (Rs. 21 crore), Rajat Patidar (Rs. 11 crore), and Yash Dayal (Rs. 5 crore) prior to the auction. With a remaining purse of Rs. 39.25 crore and five overseas player slots still available, RCB is expected to remain active in the auction’s second day. The auction features a total of 577 players.
