**New Delhi, [Date]** – The Ministry of Education has announced a vacancy for a Deputy Secretary at the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI) in New Delhi. The position, a General Central Service, Group A Gazetted, Ministerial post, offers a salary of Rs 15,600 – 39,100 (PB-3) with a Grade Pay of Rs 7,600.

The Ministry invites applications from Central Government officers on a deputation basis. Applicants must either hold an analogous post in their parent cadre or have served at least five years in a PB-3 post with a pay scale of Rs 15,600-39,100 and a Grade Pay of Rs 6,600 or equivalent. The maximum age limit is 56 years.

Applications, submitted in duplicate using the prescribed proforma, must include an integrity certificate, a list of any penalties imposed in the last 10 years (or a “Nil” certificate if none exist), a vigilance clearance certificate, and attested copies of the last five years’ Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs). The forwarding authority must also provide a certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure-II). Applications should be sent to The Section Officer (Minority Cell), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, New Delhi. Candidates cannot withdraw their applications after submission.
