NEW YORK, NY – NBC will air a repeat episode of *Saturday Night Live* (SNL) on November 23rd, instead of a new show. The network will re-broadcast the October 5th episode, hosted by Nate Bargatze with musical guest Coldplay. This is due to the cast and crew taking a break for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The previous episode, hosted by Charli XCX, featured sketches including a sequel to Ariana Grande’s viral “Bridesmaid Speech” and celebrity impersonations auditioning for *Wicked*. Charli XCX also performed two songs from her album, *Brat*.
While fans will miss a new episode this week, NBC will air “A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving,” a two-hour special showcasing memorable Thanksgiving sketches from the show’s 50-season history. This special will air on Wednesday, November 27th, at 9/8c on NBC and stream on Peacock the following day. All 50 seasons of SNL are available to stream on Peacock.
