**Perth, Australia:** Virat Kohli etched his name into cricketing history, surpassing Sir Don Bradman’s record for most Test centuries by an Indian batsman. His 30th Test century, achieved on day three of the Perth Test against Australia, places him alongside Matthew Hayden and Shivnarine Chanderpaul. This magnificent knock, Kohli’s seventh Test century on Australian soil and second at the Perth Stadium, was an unbeaten 100 off 143 balls, including two sixes and eight fours.

Kohli’s achievement is even more impressive considering it’s his 81st international century, moving him to second place on the all-time list behind Sachin Tendulkar (100 centuries). Among active cricketers, he leads significantly, with Joe Root on 51 and Rohit Sharma on 48 international centuries.

India declared their second innings at 487/6, setting Australia a daunting target of 534 runs. This followed India’s first-innings lead of 46 runs, after they bowled out Australia for 104 in response to India’s 150.

The match features a strong line-up for both sides. India’s team included Jasprit Bumrah (captain), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Mohammed Siraj, while Australia’s team boasts Pat Cummins (captain), Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith, and Mitchell Starc. The thrilling match continues.
