**Rajampeta, November 24, 2024** – Annamayya District Collector Sridhar Chamakuri conducted inspections of voter registration centers across the district on Sunday, stressing the crucial role of booth-level officers (BLOs) in updating voter lists ahead of the 2025 elections. The special registration drive, held on November 23rd and 24th as per Election Commission of India (ECI) directives, focused on registering new voters turning 18 by January 1, 2025, and amending existing registrations.

Collector Chamakuri visited multiple polling stations, including those in Rajampeta, Pullampet, Obulavari Palle, Chinnavorampadu, and Railway Koduru, observing the registration process and engaging with BLOs on procedures for new registrations and list amendments. He emphasized the importance of maximizing new voter registrations and ensured BLOs are equipped to handle all necessary documentation. Tahsildars and other officials accompanied the Collector during the inspections.
