**Kozhikode, Kerala, November 24, 2024** – The Kozhikode Revenue District School Arts Festival concluded on Saturday, November 23rd, with Kozhikode City sub-district securing the overall championship title for the second consecutive year. The five-day festival, which saw participation from approximately 12,000 students across over 300 events, witnessed a notable surge in participation from rural schools.

Kozhikode City scored 938 points, outperforming Chavayur (924 points) and Koduvally (892 points). This year marked a significant shift in the competition. Other high-performing rural schools included Perambra HSS, Thiruvangoor HSS, and GHSS Kokkallur.

The festival showcased a wide array of performances, including Bharatanatyam, Kathakali, Duff Mutt, and various folk dances, with tribal art forms like Malapulaya Attam and Paniya Nritham making their debut.
