**Mohali, India (November 24, 2024)** – The IPL 2025 mega auction saw a fierce bidding war for Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, ultimately resulting in his retention by the Punjab Kings for a whopping ₹18 crore (approximately $2.2 million USD).

Several teams competed for the prized pacer, including Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Royal Challengers Bangalore, who reportedly offered ₹10 crore.
