**Jeddah, Saudi Arabia:** The Indian Premier League (IPL) has announced the schedule for the next three seasons, starting with IPL 2025, which will commence on March 14th and culminate with the final on May 25th. The announcement comes ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, currently underway in Jeddah. A total of 74 matches are planned for the 2025 season.

The IPL governing council confirmed the dates after discussions with all ten franchises. The 2026 season will run from March 15th to May 31st, and the 2027 season from March 14th to May 30th. The league also stated that most players from full member nations have received clearance from their respective boards to participate in the IPL over the next three years. Cricket Australia has already granted permission for all its players, and the BCCI has confirmed the availability of players from South Africa, New Zealand, the West Indies, Afghanistan, and Zimbabwe.
