Shami, recently returned to competitive cricket after surgery on his right heel following the 2023 World Cup, took 7 wickets in a match for Bengal against Madhya Pradesh. He was released by Gujarat Titans before the IPL 2024 auction and has set his base price at ₹2 crore.
