**Dhanbad, Jharkhand – November 23, 2024** – With vote counting underway, the JMM-led alliance is projected to win the Jharkhand Assembly elections, defying most exit polls. As of 4:00 p.m. today, the JMM is leading in 34 seats, Congress in 17, RJD in four, and CPI(ML) in two. The NDA alliance, meanwhile, shows BJP leading in 22 seats, with LJP and JD(U) leading in one each.

This represents a significant increase in seat share for all parties within the JMM alliance compared to the previous election, while the BJP’s share has decreased. The outcome contradicts pre-election predictions which favored a BJP victory. Final results are pending.
