A total of 577 players – 367 Indian and 210 overseas (including 4 from associate nations) – are vying for spots across the 10 franchises. This follows a significant reduction from the initial 1500+ registrations. The auction features 320 uncapped Indian and 12 uncapped overseas players.

Franchises have 204 slots to fill, with 70 reserved for overseas players. The highest reserve price is set at ₹2 crore, with 82 players opting for this top bracket. Following a retention deadline on October 31st, 46 players were retained by franchises, leaving Punjab Kings with the largest purse and Rajasthan Royals with the smallest.
