**Sahibganj, Jharkhand –** Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren has secured a resounding victory in the Barhait constituency, winning by a massive margin of 95,612 votes. The results, announced late today, mark Soren’s third consecutive win in the seat, which is reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) and located in Sahibganj district.

Soren faced competition from Gamliyel Hembrom of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), as well as candidates from smaller parties. Voting took place in two phases on November 13th and 20th, with a final voter turnout of 69.5%.
