**West Bokaro:** Jharkhand Loktantrik Congress (JLKM) candidate, Bihari Mahato, from the Mandu Assembly constituency, expressed confidence in his victory on Thursday morning. Addressing party workers at his Kedla residence, Mahato stated that initial reports indicate a comfortable win, attributing his success to the overwhelming support of the people.
While acknowledging a three-cornered contest, Mahato thanked his supporters, party workers, and voters for their faith. He also expressed gratitude to JLKM’s national president, Jayram Mahato, for nominating him.
Mahato outlined his top five priorities if elected: implementing the 1932 Khatian policy, improving the planning, mining, displacement, and health policies. He also pledged to create employment opportunities for youth and improve infrastructure, including roads, education, and drinking water facilities across the constituency.
