**VISAKHAPATNAM, November 22, 2024** – Manoj Kumar Sahoo has assumed the role of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway, effective November 20th. Sahoo, previously the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations), brings over 26 years of experience to the position.
His career spans various roles across the South East Central Railway, South Eastern Railway, and East Coast Railway, including time with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) in Visakhapatnam. Sahoo holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, and furthered his education with a PGDHRM from Utkal University and an MBA from Andhra University. He has also completed advanced management programs in Singapore and Malaysia, and a management program at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
