**Hyderabad, India –** Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has officially launched its Redmi A4 5G smartphone in India. The device, unveiled at the Indian Mobile Congress last month, boasts impressive features for its price point, expected to be under ₹10,000.
The Redmi A4 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and features a large 5160mAh battery with fast charging support. It sports a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP dual rear camera setup, and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone runs on Android 14 based Hyper OS and includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C charging port. The design incorporates a dual-tone glass finish.
Xiaomi confirmed that the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be available for under ₹10,000. With bank and launch offers, the price is expected to drop further, potentially reaching ₹8,499. The Redmi A4 5G is now available for purchase in India.
