MUMBAI, INDIA (November 20, 2024) – Maharashtra’s 2024 Assembly elections saw a flurry of celebrity endorsements for voter participation today, with numerous prominent figures from the entertainment industry casting their ballots and encouraging citizens to do the same.
Among the early voters were cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, along with his family; actors Akshay Kumar, Rajkummar Rao, Sonu Sood, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Gautami Kapoor, and Pooja Bhatt; and musician Vishal Dadlani. Filmmakers Kabir Khan and Zoya Akhtar, and actors Ali Fazal, John Abraham, and Farhan Akhtar also participated.
