Wed Nov 20 06:40:00 UTC 2024: ## San Diego County to Enjoy Dry, Warming Week After Recent Cold Snap

**SAN DIEGO, CA** – San Diego County is set to bask in dry, sunny weather this week, following a recent cold spell, according to local forecasters. While some windy conditions are expected, they won’t reach the intensity of the Santa Ana winds experienced a couple of weeks ago.

The National Weather Service predicts above-average gusts, up to 35 mph, in the deserts on Monday. Temperatures will climb steadily throughout the week, reaching the mid-70s to low 80s. Mountain areas can anticipate winds of 20 to 30 mph until at least Tuesday, with highs in the lower 60s rising to the upper 70s by the weekend. Inland valleys will also experience strong gusts into Tuesday before settling into mostly sunny conditions and low 80s by Thursday.

Coastal areas will see a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 60s and light winds. Morning temperatures will remain cool, in the 30s and 40s, but daytime temperatures will gradually increase, with Thursday and Friday expected to be the warmest days of the week. Inland areas could see temperatures near 80 degrees by the end of the week.

The weekend will see a slight cooling trend, but will remain dry. Any chance of rain isn’t anticipated until next week, according to NBC 7 meteorologist Greg Bledsoe.
