**NEW DELHI** – The National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) has announced the closure of the registration period for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025. Admit cards for the exam, scheduled for December 8th, 2024, will be available for download from the official NLU Delhi website starting November 28th. AILET 2025 is the entrance exam for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD law programs at the university.
Earlier, NLU Delhi informed applicants that testing centers in Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri would be cancelled due to low candidate numbers. Applicants who had selected these cities were required to update their preferences.
The exam will now be held across 31 cities: Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam.
Eligibility criteria for the undergraduate program require a Senior Secondary School examination (or equivalent) with 45% marks. Those appearing for their class 12 exams in 2025 are also eligible to apply. Postgraduate applicants need an LLB degree (or equivalent) with 55% marks, with those appearing for their final year exams in 2025 also eligible. PhD applicants must hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in a relevant social science or humanities subject with a minimum of 55% marks.
