Wed Nov 20 10:51:43 UTC 2024: ## Seven-Year-Old Coding Prodigy Offered Job by Russian Software Firm

**Saint Petersburg, Russia** – A seven-year-old boy from Saint Petersburg, Russia, has been offered a management position at a Russian software company, Pro32, upon reaching the legal working age. Sergey, who started posting coding tutorial videos online at the age of five, has amassed over 3,500 YouTube subscribers. His videos, which feature him explaining coding challenges in Russian and broken English with enthusiasm, caught the attention of Pro32.

Impressed by Sergey’s skills and teaching ability, Igor Mandic, CEO of Pro32, offered him a corporate training director position. While Russian law prevents Sergey from working until he turns 14, Mandic stated that the company plans to collaborate with Sergey and his parents until then, exploring ways to engage him before he officially joins the team.

Sergey’s father, Kirill, expressed surprise and delight at the offer, looking forward to his son joining the company in the future. Mandic described Sergey as a “coding Mozart,” confident that by age 14 he will be a skilled programmer and teacher. He added that Sergey’s unique abilities could benefit not only the programmers at Pro32, but also employees in sales, accounting, and other departments.

While no salary has been discussed yet, Mandic assured that compensation would be addressed when Sergey turns 14. The offer highlights the exceptional coding talent displayed by this young prodigy and the innovative approach of Pro32 in recognizing and nurturing his potential.
