**London, November 17 (AP)** – Sweden defeated Slovakia 2-1 in the Nations League, thanks to a stellar performance by Viktor Gyökeres, while the Netherlands secured their place in the quarterfinals with a 4-0 victory over Hungary. Germany also set a new tournament record, defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 7-0.
Gyökeres scored Sweden’s first goal in the third minute. Slovakia equalized through David Hrnčár’s goal in the 19th minute, but Gyökeres assisted Alexander Isak’s goal, securing a 2-1 win for Sweden. Sweden aims to move up from League C to League B. In the same group, Estonia and Azerbaijan played a goalless draw.
Germany and the Netherlands progressed to the quarterfinals in March from League A, Group 3. In League B, Iceland defeated Montenegro 2-0, relegating Montenegro to League C.
