Mon Nov 18 19:00:00 UTC 2024: ## Telangana Braces for Chilly Dip as Temperatures Plummet

**Hyderabad, India –** Telangana is set to experience a significant temperature drop over the next week, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Several districts, including Adilabad, Jagtial, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, and Nizamabad, are expected to see minimum temperatures plunge to between 11 and 15 degrees Celsius until November 20. Peddapalli, Mulugu, Karimnagar, and Jayashankar Bhupalpally will experience the coldest temperatures on November 19th and 20th.

While Hyderabad will escape the most extreme chill, residents can anticipate partly cloudy skies and misty mornings until November 20. However, the city’s air quality remains a concern, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) currently at 220 (“poor”). Residents are advised to take necessary precautions, particularly during the early mornings and evenings.

The IMD’s forecast follows a day of light rainfall across several districts and minimum temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius in many areas. Hyderabad, however, recorded minimum temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius. The IMD predicts a continued drop in temperatures across the state in the coming days.
